Community and Indigenous Engagement Committee Member on the Strategic Trajectory Committee for ADAC-ARCTIC.
The Strategic Trajectory Committee (STC) will implement Executive Leadership Team (ELT) directives and act as the primary internal review committee (e.g., scientific, and educational merit). As a committee, the STC will delineate and create actionable procedures to recommend projects and activities. While each member will be responsible for a specific area of the COE’s strategic direction, the STC as a group will strengthen connections between strategic areas (i.e., research, workforce, education, community engagement). The STC is expected to bring concerns to the ELT regarding COE operations and trajectory and propose solutions for the ELT to consider and implement. The STC will (1) meet monthly (at a minimum) to coordinate cross-cutting strategic activities, (2) participate in monthly meetings with the ELT, and (3) participate in DHS meetings and quarterly CEC meetings when requested.
