UIC Municipal Services is seeking an Expeditor to join our team. This position is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of materials to and from suppliers to support project needs. The Expeditor II ensures that materials are delivered on time, in the correct quantities, and in compliance with project specifications. Responsibilities include inspecting goods at pickup and delivery, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating closely with managers and vendors to support timely and efficient project execution. The role also involves frequent use of filing systems and computer programs to track and organize material movement.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
2 to 5 years of related experience.
Valid Alaska driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past three (3) years. Must comply with all Authorized Driver Policy procedures regarding approved vehicle use.
Ability to pass a Non-DOT pre-employment drug screening and comply with all Non-DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing Program requirements.

Working Conditions:
Work is performed in a combination of indoor and outdoor environments, including warehouses, loading areas, and project sites.
Exposure to varying weather conditions such as wind, rain, snow, and extreme cold may occur.
May be exposed to noise, dust, and moving equipment common to construction and industrial settings.
Requires frequent travel between vendor locations, job sites, and storage facilities.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required in certain work areas.
May involve early mornings, evenings, or weekend hours to meet project delivery requirements.
